The World is Turning Red, Green, White and Black this season!
Global Strike + A Prayer for the 2nd Advent Sunday
The world is turning Red, Green, White, and Black this season and it's not because of Christmas. It's the love and solidarity the world is showing for Palestine that is increasing by the thousands every day and in every corner of the world. Its a movement that will not seize to exist. People are learning and growing in knowledge and history, thus understanding the savage Israeli occupation of the Palestine region and its people, both Muslims and Christians.
The Truth is everywhere now regarding who started this violent assault, who is guilty of perpetuating it, who supports it, and who has fooled the world for 75 years.
That is good news this season, where the nightmare of genocide looms over us; the world is coming together for true freedom, liberty, and equality, not empty promises and lies from the so-called democracies of the West.
On December 9, 2023, the United States once again voted against a permanent humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. It was the only opposition to the United Nations Resolution. The US could end this genocide immediately, but deliberately choose not to. Doesn't that make you angry?
THE GLOBAL STRIKE IS TODAY
We have seen many videos of people marching worldwide in solidarity with Palestine. Today is the Palestinian global strike to remind world leaders about true democracy.
A short backstory.
On December 9, 1948: The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide or The Genocide Convention was signed and adopted by the UN.
On December 10, 1948: The UN proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, embedding inalienable rights for all human beings into international law.
In 1948, the massacre and ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Palestinian population by Zionist militias/ IOF resulted in over 15k Palestinian deaths and the displacement of over 700k. This period is referred to as the Nakba.
As of now, December 11, 2023, the Palestinian genocide has surpassed all the numbers from the Nakba. Below are the current numbers.
Today, we strike in peace for the liberation of all Palestinians.
I am also including the following video by www.instagram.com/amine_lahmerr. See below: We Are All Born Free, a children’s book published in association with Amnesty International UK.
Sadist Jewish-American citizens visiting Israel lined up at a military outpost near the Israeli town of Nahal Oz to write messages on howitzer shells that will be used to bomb Palestine’s Gaza. This is one of many photos. I’ve seen celebrities, Israeli politicians, residents, tourists, Christian leaders, and others. Degenerate, monstruos, and perverse. This is sourced from the Israeli media.
Thomas Aquinas, the Italian Dominican friar, priest, and influential philosopher and theologian, once said, “He who is not angry when there is just cause for anger is immoral. Why? Because anger looks to the good of justice. And if you can live amid injustice without anger, you are immoral as well as unjust.”
In closing, I wrote an interfaith prayer for this second Sunday of Advent published on my Instagram account yesterday. Follow the link for the slides below.
I’m curious where you stand. Do you want a ceasefire? Let me know by either liking this message or commenting.
May Peace be upon us,
Jorge Fusaro
You made it to the end, thank you. The best token of appreciation is hitting the like button and sharing the post with others. 🙏
YES, I want a ceasefire and I was and am so angry and upset at the US council ""representative""" when he vetoed the ceasefire at the security council.
Yes, Jorge, it is tough to pray....
Yet, I don't want to stop praying (whether that looks like a gentle petition, silence, or a crying, kicking and screaming for a stop to this nonsense) because prayer keeps us grounded to our truest desires and our deepest sense of humanity.... and war and genocides like this can easily take that away from us... let's hold on to it, no matter how hard it gets.
Tomorrow night we will hold an intereligious vigil prayer.
Yes to ceasefire.
Thank you Jorge.
